1. Permission is required
- Send marketing or bulk email only to recipients who gave valid, documented permission or where another lawful basis clearly permits it.
- Do not use purchased, rented, harvested, scraped, appended, or guessed address lists.
- Make sender identity clear, use accurate subjects and headers, and include any legally required business identity and postal information.
- Provide a functional, easy opt-out for non-transactional email and honour it promptly across relevant lists.
2. Prohibited activity
- Spam, phishing, impersonation, credential theft, malware, fraud, unlawful surveillance, or evasion of recipient/provider controls.
- Content or activity that is illegal, exploitative, threatening, discriminatory, or infringes privacy, intellectual property, or other rights.
- Using Relay to test stolen credentials, conceal origin, abuse third-party infrastructure, or interfere with a system or network.
- Reselling or exposing the service in a way that bypasses workspace controls, review, quotas, or customer accountability.
3. Security and domain integrity
Customers must use domains they control, maintain SPF/DKIM/DMARC and return-path configuration, protect credentials, apply least privilege, and report suspected compromise. Relay may revoke credentials or pause traffic when a domain, account, or integration appears unsafe.
4. Reputation enforcement
Relay monitors bounces, complaints, unsubscribes, unusual volume, blocklists, and related signals. Limits are safety ceilings, not permission to approach harmful rates. Warning, probation, throttling, review, suspension, and termination may be applied based on severity, history, and risk.
A customer may request review through support and should provide consent evidence, acquisition source, sample content, expected volume, and remediation. Urgent recipient or network abuse reports should go to the dedicated abuse contact.
5. Reporting
Report suspected abuse to support@relaytera.com. Include relevant headers, timestamps, sending domain, and message identifiers where safe. Do not send passwords, private keys, or unnecessary sensitive content.
